This can be used for ‘standard’ C18 column separations, but is additionally recommended for separations that involve compounds containing aromatic functionality.

ACE EXCEL 2 C18-AR 50 x 2.1 mm, UHPLC Compatible Column

Avantor® ACE® Excel® C18-PFP phase utilizes a specially developed ligand combining a C18 chain with integral PFP functionality. This results in a phase that maintains the hydrophobic, stability and low bleed characteristics of leading C18 phases, yet provides the multiple retention mechanisms of a PFP phase.

Ideal for a wide range of analytes differing in hydrophobicity

Due to its integral pentafluoro phenyl functionality, Avantor® ACE® C18-PFP is also recommended for separations that involve halogenated aromatic compounds, Regio isomers, and those analytes with differing shape constraints.

Avantor® ACE® Excel® SuperC18 columns provide high stability across an extended pH range. These stainless steel columns are ideal for use with LC/MS compatible buffers and can be used with both MeOH and MeCN mobile phases.
